What dimension would be better for performance, acceleration and cornering with my 340whp ITR?
My fenders are pulled, so I have no problem to fit the 225/45/16 on 16x8 offset 38mm rims. For the 205/50 I would go for an 7 or 7.5x16 incher.
What would you do? 215/45/16 comes out of mind, cause only as tires available here.

I have a turbo like you and I use to run 225 45 15 hoosiers at autox but even at 8 psi the tire will spin madly. then I've try 225 50 16 ( need to modified the fender to run those), it works good in high boost(16+) but feels like a dog when running low boost at autox, the acceleration and the steering respond is just not there. I think the 225 45 16 will be perfect if you can get them. I can't find any R compound that offer that size here in the state

Pirelle P Zero are not R compound tires.... the only company that offers Dot legal r compound tires are Kuhmo, hoosiers, toyo, yokohama here in the state.
gotcha! You mean the one that have treads look like Ss? didnt know they are R compound... only saw them once in magazine and dont know they are even out yet?! Anyone got more info on those?

Yeah, those are the ones. I have a picture-- I couldn't find them on the Pirelli site though.

I know some Porsche drivers run these because they are the only r-compound in 295/30/18.

Yeah, we have the Potenza S03 in 225/45/16 here.
We also get the A038R Yoko, but it is hella expensive and not worth to use them on streets.
Do you think 205/45 or 50 on 16 inch would be too small for my bad power?
