Default Fast idle valve question.

Mine is sucking in air when the engine is at normal operating temp. I read somewhere that i can take it apart and tighten the little wax thing with a flat head screw driver if it is loose. Mine was definatley loose so i tightened it and put all back together and it`s still sucking air.

Will this cause it to idle weird while it`s warmed up cause that`s the problem i`m having.

if your valevs are coming down to low then you probly need new springs...nothing is going to jus get loose...you mine as well...there pretty cheap and they make the diffrence

Yeah the bottom port. It`s says in the manual that when it`s warmed up that if you can feel suction when you put your finger over it that it`s no good and replace it.

So then i read that post and it said tighten it, i did and still have air being sucked in. My whole problem is the idle issue and bogging ****. I replace the EACV with a brand new oem one and it cleared alot of the issue up but still not this one.

In the morning when cold its like 2500rpm. Normal is about 1500-1900. So my fast idle is out of spec. What i want to know, will this cause idle problems when my car is warmed up.
