Default adding tilt wheel to 93 Civic Cx

Currently trying to add tilt wheel to a 93 Civic Cx Hatch. So apparently all other trims came with the tilt wheel minus the Cx. So I bought a new steering column with the tilt wheel and was trying to install it when i found out that it was short about 1-2 inches. So my install ended there.

Any one figure a way to extend the shaft so you can get this working?
I've seen ppl use teg steering columns in Cx and had no issue.

thx

Just get the appropriate steering column from a DX or an Si. If it doesn't fit, then you can't use it.

Yeah, its supposed to bolt on. Got it from honda themselves from a DX trim.

The two inches are killing me. Gotta see if there is any shop that can extend the drive shaft. Cuz i can't see my speedometer with my new itr wheel.

i also unbolted at the feet under the plastic with the coupler at the bottom. I noticed the stock orignal one seemed to be extended or yanked out by an inch so that u can turn the wheel.

Its supposed to be the highest position but with a momo steering wheel it seems very low. so to compensate, the seating in a far position to just see the speed. i'm trying to get an EX tilt wheel column to see if that helps. Honda dealer said they discontinued the CX tilt wheel column which seems kinda odd since it should be all the same for all the trims, but have different part numbers.

The 3rd gen Integra columns are exactly the same as the Civics. It should be cake to find one at the junkyard. I put an Integra column in my Civic since the end of the hub was stripped where someone put an aftermarket wheel on.

It's probably your steering wheel just blocking out the gauges because it's a smaller diameter than stock.
