Replacing cut out floor
Hey, I'm planning on buying an eg shell. The guy was in the middle of making a drag car out of it and just doesn't have time to work on it anymore. One of the things about the car is that the floor is cut out.
I haven't really worked with sheet metal and don't have the equipment so I'm wondering how much work would be involved with replacing the floor and how much I could expect to pay for it to be done.

A buddy of mine had it done in his car, for multiple panels he paid around 500 for labor and supplies.
This was for a late 80's early 90's Lincoln Mark II or III or whatever gen it was at that time.

How much of the floor needs to be replaced? your gonna need alot of time, materials.. etc...
go to a junk yard and ask them how much for a whole cut out of a floor... then just weld it in
And the work will be hard if you dont have sheetmetal working skills, welding skills, etc....

Bringing this back from the dead. What material would you guys use to build the support for the floor and how would you do it. I was thinking some square stock would be best, then just rivet aluminum sheet metal to floor support.
