How to connect lighting on boost gauge?

How to connect lighting on boost gauge?
I just bought an ac autotechnic boost gauge but the problem is that both of the wires for the gauge are white and i cant tell which one is pos. and which one is neg.

ok so i put 1 wire on the pos and the other on the neg and it didnt work, then i swapped the wires and still nothing. What could it be?

Are you sure there's a bulb installed in it? If there are only two wires, the options are obviously limited. Didn't the gauge come with instructions?
