I took a head off a D16y8 block and I never have taken off a head before. The valves were positioned as so. Is that normal. Some valves were black some were another color the head looked in okay position . Does this look fine. I had some dry grass on the pics. Sorry

im guessing the cam is still in the head? if so that is the lobes of the cam pushing the valves up like it should be.

 

you should try cleaning injectors it looks A little lean

porte and polish while head is off ?

 

Im selling it for 80$ its a D16y8 head.
