Wagon Help
my dad's gf has a '96 accord wagon, EX, auto, and she asked me if i could adjust her idle....now, i kno on my gf's car, a 00 civic ex (KP LQQKN), you adjust her idle by turning the screw in the side of the throttle body. is it the same with my dad's gf's wagon? and also, her door locks dont work since she got it back from the body shop (she was t-boned), any idea what to look for when trying to fix that? the lock doesnt go down by button or by pushing on the lock itself, it feels kinda stiff. Also, how do i take the door off? Im starting this tomorrow morning, so any help is appreciated.
TIA
TIA
You can adjust idle by tightening or loosening the throttle cable...
And the door panel has a couple screws..one behind the door lock handle and you have to pop it out and disconnect the door lock "bar" thing. There's also one in the door pull...underneath a small circular cover. Then you just pop off the rest of the door's edge. Then you'll have access to anything you desire.
BTW I was on vw vortex too until I got sick of my LEMON.

oooops!!!
, if you adjust the idle by screwing around with the throttle cable it causes problems; from the TPS misreading, changing the timing and injection pulse. There is an air adjust screw at the passenger side of the throttle body,[back it out to allow more air] usually covered with gray sealer. However the most likely cause of low idle is the screen on the IACV is plugged up and needs a bath with Berrymans B-12. You might also want to get the ladys toothbrush and use the brush and some B-12 to scrub out the crud around the throttle plate to allow more air to pass when it is closed.

You can see the idle air screw in this pic, covered with the gray sealer//straight above the end of the brush
