Default RMF header worth the hassle

I know most everyones opinion of these headers on this board is really good, but I'll ask anyway.

I've tried to contact IPH via email a couple of times and have gotten no response. I just had a couple of questions about fitment, and I'm ready to order.

Those who have purchased from IPH before, what was the wait time before arrival? In your opinion, was it worth the wait? Was the customer service good?

Thanks!

Randy doesn't work for IPH anymore. He moved to SoCal and has his own shop now. I don't have the contact info handy, but I'm sure someone else will post it up soon.

<---Would not buy an RMF header due to his customer service issues on H-T. I don't usually mention companies I won't deal with unless I strongly feel that way.

those issues are being dealt with. Try having a 70 customer wait list with 100 people calling you all day single handedly dealing with customers and making headers and see how much work you get done.

thats what im here for.

DEALT WITH??? Hey man, i'm still waiting for my REFUND!!!!! guess you've forgotten the thread 2weeks ago???? Didnt he say he will refund by monday 2weeks ago?????

Last i heard was 500 was sent to casey at burns stainless and he didnt have money to pay the rest and he would use his credit card to pay for the rest. Gave me all the bullshit about not being able to pay more than a certain limit on paypal. whatever it is, i wanted cash. $1000 cash back Randy.

I think you should deal with my case and make sure he pays up before you start coming online and telling new customers that those cases have been dealt with!

Judging from the responses so far, it is 'NOT' worth the hassle.

i think you should give the guy a little break.....im sure you will get your money back....there is a paypal limit for a months period and with the move and crap im sure he got behind a lot...its n ot easy moving equipment and building the place back up....when i moved to my new shop, took me 3 weeks to get all the machines bolted, papers in file, computers setup etc....rmf products are top of the line.

but does it make sense looking for more business and asking people to put a down when youre already behind a billion headers?

hi SB tuning,

I don't think you realise how much hassle he caused me. He should be answerable to his own actions or inactions. Its not like, oh, i've got a better job which can get me on TV, so its worth it to do that job first and fark the job that i've promised someone else.

Do you think i'm sorted once he returns all the money? NO. My loss is much more than the money.

People sometimes have to learn it the hard way i guess.

i guess you are right, he should of atleast called or have some1 contacted you and told you that he couldnt have the header made for you at the promised time....its hard when your in buisness, you have phone calls all day, your trying to get as much work accomplished as possible and when you go look at the time its like 8.....its part of buisness, a lot of my customers cars arent finished on the promised date....maybe like a day or 2 later, but i let them know the reason why...im sure when all this is settled maybe you can understand a little better...i know it sucks, you payed for a product and still dont have the money or the product....i guess this can be a lesson learned for you....dont pay anything in advance, maybe just leave a small deposit.

if you want a good headers that really works i say you wait. i on my 2nd rmf headers... i have nothing but good things to say about them .. beside that my first one had cracking problem, it still made mad power. i didnt dyno it just from a header swap i went from 14.5 w/jdm itr 4-1 to a 13.8 open headers on both headers. on a very stock b20vtec in an integra

You realize that you're responding to a 2 year-old thread, right? Funny, considering much of the discussion is about punctuality.
