I ordered a hytech header back on May 18, 2004. It is now September 8 and still no header. I was originally told only 4 weeks. The shop who ordered it for me can't get ahold of this guy. Anyone know how to get ahold of him? E-mail or phone. From search mode I saw that the guys name is John. Just want to know whats up. Was planning on having this before rolling to NOPI. Help greatly appreciated.

Where did you order it from? It might be more that the shop is screwing you more then Hytech. I would ask for money back and say your going to go with someone else.

Uh....maybe you misheard them, and what they really said was four months? No seriously, go get your money back. **** them, you can find a quality header yourself. Nothing should take that long

Your best is to go with Hytech himself. I know his wait is around 6-8 months sometime towards a year.

His headers kickass vs what I already witness .

The shop isn't making the header, Hytech is. His first quote was 4 weeks, then he added 2 weeks on to that when it didn't show. Then No one could get ahold of him because phone was never answered and never called back, until they ordered another one. Ironic? He then said for mine he hadn't started cause there wasn't enough orders to make it yet, but he would be doing it in a week and they should be out in 2 weeks. And that was 4 weeks ago.

I just want to know how I can contact this guy. Don't want to ask the shop because I don't want them to know I'm calling him, this way I can hear his version as well. Anyone know?

I see that in a past thread that it is said the shop hytech works in had an accident and that production is slowed. Jan and Feb orders still hadn't been received by June. Obviously some people know this guy or know whats going on. Is production still behind?

John is pretty good about answering his e-mails. He does tend to lag on delivery, but his stuff is worth the wait. I have been waiting for a cylinder head (from a head porter) since February 13th, so I know what it's like to wait
