ZC tranny with Si FD would suck for highway driving, lol. You'd be revving like a bitch. The Si tranny's FD keeps the revs up. Good for acceleration, but not for the gighway.

zc tranny ftw! u would have to use different axels from a 1st gen integra i think. but its a little better than a us spec si tranny. dx tranny will work but its not worth it unless you need to have car running asap. so 1st choice is zc, then si, then dx.

keep in mind that if you decide to get a zc tranny you will have to get zc mid shaft or 90-91 tegra mid shaft and use 90-91 tegra axle. DONT. use 88 prior years tegra shaft they will POP OUT... but SI tranny will do fine and bolt right up

If you get hubs to fit it. The inner shafts are all the same.

so then wouldn't the axles fit both a dx and si? or are you saying the splines on inner joint don't match?

The axles will fit.

The DX and Si hubs are the same axle wise. ALL axles are the same where they meet the tranny. (within the correct years)
