Final Gear (Beating a Dead Horse)

I am searching for final gears. Anyone have 4.57 and 4.44? Which are better for daily drivng and highway driving?

they are nearly same. bigger difference if you have 4.77 on ap2. not as bad on ap1. 5.1=WOWOW!!! i would go 4.57.

Personally, I wouldn't change out gears on a daily driven car. I was already at 4500rpm's att 75 or 80 mph (can't remember). Any higher, it would've felt too buzzy for daily driving.

thanks that was alot of help. Is there any real reason for going with the reinforced housing? Are there anyone that had trouble after installed

we tend to have a semi-weak differential. if you plan on doing a lot of hard driving with the gears or you launch the car at a drag strip or the street then it is a wise investment.
