I'm having problems with a MAp sensor code. I have checked the wiring and the wiring is good. So this leaves me with the options of bad ECu tuning or Map sensor. Can I replace my map sensor with any OBD1 Map sensor?, or does i has to from an B18C1?

 

all map sensors are the same , obd1 and obd2. are you sure the tps and map sensor plug are not switched?

 

The MAP sensor plug is receving the correct amount of voltage, it is also receving it at ecu through wiring. The wiring is confirmed that the wiring is working, We have ome to the conclusion that is the map sensr is just not receiving pressure at vteec or load on the engine. But is the map sensor or the ecu for sure. That I know.
