I have an EK hatch with a boosted single cam, and for some reason it keeps breaking the drivers side motor mount. I was wondering what you guys suggest I should do. I think i'm just going to end up welding it solid, but I thought i would get everyone's opinion first. I know its going to vibrate like a ************, and I may eventually break the welds...but I just need a short term fix to get the car back on the road.

Hasport mounts. I broke my friends mount with a simple stock ITR swap, popped the top right off and hit the hood and all, it was pretty crazy to see. But also we werent running the bottom torque mounts. He since switched to hasport and that **** never moves.

 

do they make mounts for d series though? the only problem is that I'm swapping the car as soon as I get my motor done, so i really don't want to spend a whole lot on the current setup.

 

you can use the b-series mounts on a d-series we just did it to my friends car.

anywho, my friend has another mount that he's going to give me for free, so i'll just do that until i get all new mounts. thanks guys.

 

my stock hx motor rutpured mine but beat the **** out of that motor, i got hte innovative driverside mount
