Default Question about seatbelt harnesses

I was looking at getting a harness because of the way I take corners. Are there any safety concerns I should know about? I heard that I have to get a harness bar because if i just bolt the harness to the floor I can break my back in an accident.

If you have a harness bar you will still have a chance of getting injured if you roll over. Because you will be strapped to the seat and cant move, so your head will be straight up not allowing you to duck. Everyone will say the proper way is to get a roll bar or cage and properly mount it to that. But then people will fight and say you will hit your head on that.

If you just want the harness for mountain runs and autocross or something, I have mine mounted to the floor. Some people mount them to the rear seat belt top mounts to get rid of the sharp angle the mounting to the floor gives you.

If I were you I would buy a Autopower or Kirk roll bar, and a 5 point harness (wrap around), they fit better and work better holding you down, and you dont have to worry about breaking your back, or rolling over.
