ITR pistons in b18c1
can i buy the itr piston sna d just throw them into my b18c1 or is there more to. basically im askin if its just a direct swap between piston or do i have to get ITR connecting rods and pins.
The compression will be much higher then stock, i would suggest tuning it as well right after installation, but you will need to hone the block first before putting in the ITR pistons, reason being, is that honing will allow correct fitment/seating in the cylinder for the pistons. Honing pretty much eliminates any irregularities or build up in the cylinder walls, which in fact benefits a lot as well as having correct fitment of the new pistons going in. And the rest you can use same parts, connecting rods, bolts..etc. and you'll be set. GL!
