Default Suspension problem

I am posting this hear cause I've noticed I get better responses in this forum than the suspension forum. Alright I have a 2000 ls integra and today I tried to install my omni coilovers, but was stopped in the removing process. I have been following the directions from the Chilton guide I have. So I started at the front and followed all the directions they show to remove the whole strut assembly; went very easily ang got the whole unit free and ready to be taken out. Well now I can't get it out because their is no room. Well the Chilton book is saying to lower the LCA down, but to do so you have to remove the bolt below it which proved it self to be a bitch to take out. So my question is would it be a good idea to get the unit out by loosening the pinch bolt and taking the unit out of the lower fork, or does this make reinstallation to difficult.
