really dude, turbo vs supercharger questions have been covered 32000939008 times.

Most agree that Honda's high reving 4c's love boost.

After a few more flames you will find out that you can piece your own turbo together for a lot less.

we all know the benefits of turbo vs supercharging.

i'm sure this guy has figured supercharging fits his driving style more.

some people love the jackson racing, and i've heard the exact opposite.

like all things in life, its all subjective...

but for the price of a supercharger you could do a b18 swap yourself.... i did mine for 2200 (includes purchase of cherry picker) and you'd have a better base to build upon.

high revs = turbo

low revs = super.

Easy.

supercharger = overpriced
turbo = cheap and more power easily gained IMO

I had the JRSC on my D16Y8 and it was a lot of fun to drive. 7 psi had a good feel throughout the rpm range, and if you're certain on keeping the Y8 with stock internals, the supercharger is definitely an option for boost.

When keeping price in mind, a JRSC brand new retail would run you $2600 which is almost the price of a B18 when you figure in the misc parts besides just the swap. BUT if you pick one up used, you could be looking at the $800-1200 range for the standard 6 psi. And install is a piece of cake.

Sooo, before this debate lengthens, I say to the JRSC. My $0.02

superchargers are too limited.

you have alot more potential with upgrades/tuning/more power with a turbo and alot cheaper.

Why are people answering his question with a response "boost"?
Correct me if I'm wrong but superchargers and turbos both make "boost"

Any force induction puts some kind of strain on the motor IMO it's the tune and lovey dubey that keeps them going. After once owning a turbo car and driven inside a superchargered gsr. NOTHING beats turbo for the price.

No supercharger and no dual. I would just turbo it.

just put a gsr motor b18c or b18c1 in it for now, and next year throw a t3/4 turbo on it and you will be one happy man!
