12.1 CR on 91 octane
I've read that I should never run this combo and I've read that on a good tune its OK. What's the true story?
Also, if I don't have access to octane higher than 91, does octane boost work?

Run a large cam along the lines of Pro1/2, or BC5 and you will have roughly the same dynamic compression as a 11.5:1 motor with ITR cams.
In other words, if you are worried about detonation, run a large cam.
