Default Head rebuild... soak LMA'S?

ok so right now my head (b18c5) is in the shop getting a new valvetrain installed. I was reading on a post and it said if you remove the head to soak the lma's. well when i get my head back in about 3 days can i still soak them and theyll b ok? any help Thank you.

Its really just a spring inside, not like a hydraulic lash adjuster that you have to submerge in oil. Just pour some oil into the bottom of it and make sure to just coat it....and all the moving parts with oil before putting on the valve cover. Sometimes if the motor was blown or the oil was really nasty I like to soak them in a jar of brake clean, oil, whatever around to flush the crap out of the inside.
