Default 2000 Civic Si Greddy Turbo on a crx

Anybody have this on there rex. How does it run, I plan to buy this kit sometime this week so any comments would be greatly appreciated. I plan to buy the hondata 2b ecu so I won't have to use the black box. I plan for know to run about 7psi intercooled.
thanks

...you'll need to convert to OBD1 to run the hondata. other than that, you shouldnt have any problems...except for maybe some changes to the piping..

yeah hondata is obd, but if we wanted that kind of tuning/engine management, is the zdyne gold the way to go (for obd0)?

yeah...the zdyne gold's definitely cool and doable... might wanna check it out: http://www.zdyne.com

to convert to OBD1, you'll wanna get an adapter harness and then its simply plug and play after you run a few extra wires into the engine bay for the heated o2 sensor, etc...

people on the EF board say that somebody by the name blownhatch makes a conversion harness from OBD0 to OBD1....i currently run a PM8 HF ecu fer my SOHC vtec (one wire vtec setup) and it runs a lil rich...I wanted to get the conversion harness and run the P28 and see how the factory ECU does in comparison to the ZDYNE....i am also putting the greddy turbo kit on my car and was thinking that you could use the black box after you have converted to OBD1....unless u still want the hondata.....

Thats true after its converted to Obd1 It would probrbaly be smart to run the black box since it already has the program set for boost, and it will save a hell of alot of money to>

I don't know if you know this, but like everyone else says, Zdyne gold is the shiz for B16 and turbo! They have premade programs for B16 and turbos and help you run like a factory FI'd car does. It's much like hondata, but I you only need a laptop or a really long cord to your computer to tune it.

Or you can go through the hassle of doing an OBDI conversion. Just go for the Zdyne and check out there sight http://www.zdyne.com .

Yeah Zdyne sounds to be pretty good, since I've been reading about it, but Hondata can be used on obd0 cars as long as you have a pr3 ecu, or at least thats what they say. I'm still looking a little further into it. I guess the reason I'm going threw the hassle with hondata is because I want to get a hondata 2b ecu, for like around 545.00 and I know a guy that has the program to log and burn chips, so I would be saving a little money sice the Zdyne Super Gold ecu runs around 950.00.
Thanks

You can use the Hondata on an OBD0 PR3 ecu.
