I remember when I purchased the car the dealer told me it would be over $500 to install it b/c they would have to put a whole new alarm system on it.

Is this still the case??

Where would I go to have one installed and what is the estimated price I can expect to pay?

I would also like to install one on a 02 Civic. Can I expect to pay the same price and would it be the same auto start or would it need a different one.

i would think that you would have to install a whole new alarm system.. i mean so you could program it into the same remote as your keyless entry... but then again i would think that you wouldnt have to pull it all out.. except most remote starters come with the alarm system too.. and depending on what brand and what features you get with the starter.. depends on price... i have seen them for like 100 bucks or like 700 bucks... it just depends... you could get the same unit for a civic... but it is probably a lil cheaper for a civic than an accord... just all up to how to route the wires..
