Default compression numbers on 12:1 LS vtec

whats up guys,
i was wondering if anyone knew the compression numbers (when you do a compression test) on a LS-vtec with a b16 head and 12:1 comp. pistons. i bought a "built" LS vtec with arias 12:1 comp. pistons, did a compression test last night and all 4 cylinders are at 210psi. this sounds low to me for 12:1 comp. pistons.?

From what I have heard, different gauges and methods for performing the test will yeild slightly different numbers. The important issue, is that they are consistent with minimal variance and not drastically low. Your engine should be good to go.

Also, if the rings are new with few miles, they could still be in the seating process. Check again after 50 miles or so.

My B18C1 is 12:1 compression, my #'s are 260 270 265 255.
210 sounds low to me, but if the build is new like sam said, then it's not a big worry. As long as all 4 cylinders are in the same area.
