Hi guys, 98 GSR with supercharger/hondata here.

The car frequently stalls out when slowing or coming to a stop after moderate to high rpms & hitting the clutch. Idle is a bit shakey/variable at times (even when warmed up) and nice & steady at others without consistency. Otherwise the car drives very smooth.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!

 

Most likely tuning/running rich coming back down from the higher rpms. Its fairly common from what I've seen and most people just hike their idle up to 900rpms to "fix" it.

 

Thanks 95 i. I guess i could prob use a retune but had it done a year ago august.

Already hiked the idle to 1000 but it still chokes.

Any other ideas?

 

Check the spark plugs, they should be able to tell u something.

 

Thanks for the reply, kinda interesting Jason - I did just burn some spark plugs which kinda coincides w/ this issue but I just assumed they were spent after 2 yrs. I replaced them w/ high-end plugs but still had the problem right out of the gate afterwards. Is this an idicator of something?
