hi i am trying to wire a cd deck and the in car harness wires had been cut, so i got another harness and reconnected them. i used a multimeter to check for power and there is no power in any of the wires except for the yellow one. what is wrong??

 

i had the same problem with my civic...i had to put the red and yellow together to get power it might work...

 

also check fuse

 

i already did the fuses. they are good. im gonna try the red n yellow thing BRB.. do u believe im a girl and im tryin 2 install this **** at 220am =oO

Did you check the backup 7.5A fuse in the underhood fuse box? I had the EXACT same thing happen and both fuses were blown.

 

so i just came back and it was a success... i just connected the red & yellow wires together & connected it to the wire that power was going to..
