hey yes i know that there have been right ups on installing the euro r intake manifold onto an h22 but i can't seem to find them. if anyone could send me a link that would be great. or just let me know what to do.
the problem is i have the euro r h22 (with lsd) and its all swapped into my 92 lude. the guy who is doing the work is taking forever finishing up my exhaust and doing the wiring for the vtec pressure switch and vtec. but he knows how to do all that. we are not sure what to do about the idle air control sensor... the euro r intake manifolds are obd2 and it is the weirdest looking ivac sensor ive seen. i just need to know how to make the euro r intake manifold work onobd1 becasue weve converted all the other parts on the motor to obd1. i just figured hed be able to repin the wires from my h23 harness and only use two... but he said the signal will mess it up even if he pinned it into the ground and constant or the ground and wire.... so i could really use the help. thanks

use the blacktrax adapter and a regular IACV
they turn out to be quite advanced circuits....nobody can really figure out how to replicate their functions.....not quite a motor, nor an inductor, nor a resistor....some kinda combination of all of them....
either way just use the adapter....

I thought that the IACV was just a stepper motor?

ok, well heres what i could find out. there are two kinds of IAC, one that is either on or off, or a stepper type. depending on the coolant temp, the IACV will close by the number of steps you specify for that temp. now how you write that into a program "crome" i have no idea.
