FS: J1 JDM B16 Cable Transmission - $450
I have a JDM B16 transmission for sale. It is a cable transmission, in excellent condition. There is an occasional grind when shifting above 8k from 2nd - 3rd, and I say it's occasional because it doesn't even happen the majority of the time. I think it's driver error more than anything.
The J1 transmission differs from the S1/Y1/A1 because of it's bigger/better 2nd/3rd synchro set.
This is available for pickup in Aurora, IL 60504.
Price: $400

I also have an Exedy clutch and stock GSR flywheel for sale.

I understand the weariness, but unlike most sellers, I'm willing to tell you the truth. Would it make you feel better if I just lied and said it was perfect? I don't know how many times I've read of posts of people buying things that are innaccurately described.
But you must remember, theses transmissions are at least 15 years old. The 3rd grind shift is also extremely common. So considering the rarity and condition of this trans, I am firm on my price. Stay away from full throttle shifts and take your time shifting, and you should have no problems.
I daily drove this tranny for over a year and there are absolutely no grinds. Once again, I only experience an occasional grind when shifting above 8k, which was at the track only. I was trying to shift fast into 3rd, which is what I think causes the grind, since I granny shift this tranny everyday of my life.

I bought parts from Paopao not too long ago. Went there late at night & I was super tired when I arrived. I bought the parts quickly & left out soon after to get some sleep. Well I left too soon & forgot a buncha stuff
He's so honest he called me back to let me know I forgot some stuff there.
I bought half the parts in the guys garage for pocketchange, the deal was a steal to begin with but rather than be dishonest & pocket the parts he politely reminded me that I didn't get everything. He said he would set that stuff aside for another time
All his parts were better than he described, great deal.
Heh, like Paopao said he could bullshit but he's not that kinda guy
GL on your sale Paopao
its worth it
