whatsup people.
i have a 95 honda civic and my friend has a 91 integra ls.
he is parting his car and i was wondering what all i need to get from him to do this converson on my car.

Take the whole trailing arm minus the toe arm and UCA. Ebrake cables might or might not work, just buy new 94-01 Integra ebrake cables to be on the safe side.

 

ive never seen a 91 dash in a eg, only 94-01 dashes so i dont have a clue

disc brakes, not dash.

hes asking about rear disc brakes. and to answer your question, yes it will work. i did it before. just make sure you get the whole trailing arm, brke lines and e-brake cable

 

you'll want all of the trailing arms, the brake lines from the teg, i used the ebrake cable from the teg as well and it works fine. if not you can take off the ebrake cables from the teg and replace it with your oem ebrake cable. the swap will take you a good 2 hours. remember to bleed correctly.

and also if you dont replace your master cyl and booster, your brake travel is increased... by ALOT. so if your brake pedal has alot of travel, dont think it's because you bled it wrong.

some people say you'll need the prop valve as well. but i didnt changed myne. i would recommend taking his master cyl and booster. make sure its 15/16 for the master cyl.

while your at it. i recommend changing the bushing on the trailing arms, the giant red one with a rod coming out from the middle. you'll have to hammer it out or torch it. trust me. do it along with your conversion because it'll be a pain in the a$$ later. and it stiffins your rear a bit.


edit: take his front brakes if you can aswell. their bigger, just take the whole thing. both cars are pratically identical. oh and if he has abs his master cyl might not work. you'll need a non abs one.

The ebrake cables will work, I have 91 integra ebrake cable on a 98 civic, so it should be no problem fitting them on the 92-95s

 

Just got a wrecked eg hatch with intergra abs brakes all the way around and the abs is hooked up. WTD? I never got to drive the car to see if they are functional but it looks like alot of time was put into it. Has anyone ran a working abs setup or should I just swap the brakes and scrap the abs electronics. P.S. sorry for jacking your thread.
