Default Experts and Experiencies (Cam Gear questions)

I'm wondering how far I could possibly adjust my cam gears on my setup. The car is running fine right now with cam gears @ 0, 0. I will be dynoing the car in a few weeks and I need some suggestions and/or experience knowledge. I know, I should have clayed the motor but it just so happened that I didn't.

SETUP:
82mm LSVTEC
11.8:1 Wiseco 82mm piston (Dome Dish = 5)
Crower Stage II cams
Flat faced valve
GSR head and block milled, but minimum (.010 on block and head)

I think this is all that would effect Cam Gear Degreeing. I was thinking I could do 3 and 3 on the cam gears. Any thoughts are appreciated. What do you guys think?

I don't have to have an experts opinion. For those of you who have a similar setup that's close to mine,....what are your cam gears set at? It can maybe give me a general idea. Bump.

There is no correct answer to the question. No two parts or setups can be considered the same. If I had exactly the same build and parts as you, it could require all different settings. The only way for you to be sure is to check the clearances and degree the cams yourself. Once that is done, the tune should be dialed in on a dyno.

Very true. I was just trying to get a general idea of how much I could possibly go. The pistons that I have are high compression but the dome on them, to me, do not seem all that high. CTR pistons have "MUCH" higher domes, and still I see those pistons in GSR motors with their cam gears adjusted. I just can't recall what thread this info came from.

Any other thoughts people?

retard the intake or advance the exhaust from where you are, dont go the opposite directions.
