b16 still wont start

Default b16 still wont start

i took apart the distributor and replaced the igniton control module and coil with parts from a known distributor and still wont start throws code 8 for tdc, can some one tell me what part in the distributor is the tdc sensor is?

check your crank sensor!

or cam sensor,
make sure they are working/ connected!

where are these sensors located and how do you test them.

it is getting spark but a weak orange spark wat could it possibly be other than my coil which i salvaged from a working d15b2 distributor(appears the exact same).

The b series distributors are different than the two separate models of D series distributor, I believe they operate with a different number of clicks for a full rotation, thus won't function properly for your engine (could be wrong, I'm still playing with my D). You should just source a B series dizzy out of a junkyard or cough up the money on distributor king.

yea i did the test featured here ( http://www.carenthusiast.com/c...t.pdf ) for the tdc the first continuity test comes up failure and recomends distributor replacement. anyone got a known working distributor for cheap, or no where i could possibly get one?

i found a new oem replacement distributor for 120$ seemed to be a good deal so i bought it we'll see what happens when it gets here. i hope this solves my trouble no car emans no income, i need my car(crosses fingers).
