wheel bearing removal tool...
has anyone used this type of tool to remove front wheel bearings?

however, from trying to remove other bushings and whatnot from simple c clamps no different than that threaded rod in function, i think youre going to have to hope for "at best" conditions. if its any bit siezed, thats not going to be enough power to remove the bearing and hub..</TD></TR></TABLE>

yeah i figured by the timing you were asking here because of that thread.

everyone else who has experience is saying to use a press. for someone who hasnt done it, you arent in a position to tell anyone what can or cant be done.

u dont have to use a press with this kit and i understand when u are stating that it might not work.. i know using a press is the ideal thing... i was just asking if anyone had use the kit...

i used a tool like this.... its from snap-on and is made to work with fwd cars.
wasn't hard just the wrenching part cause i didnt have a compressor at the time. fairly simple to use but does take some patience(didnt want to put the bearing in crooked)
You still have to a slide hammer to take out the hub.
snap-on tool worked great not too sure for harborfrieght... I tend to stay away from there!
