2 CRX's, 1 brake problem, 1 solution?
Well i got my fully running 89 crx, and i got my 90si recently and I dont know what I want to do with it yet but I want to get it running. All it needs is brakes, the previous owner said that he removed the pads because they seized (sat for a while).
Well allright, when I push on the brake the fluid leaks from the driver front and rear... allright
So I figure i'd do the bigbrake (fastbrakes) upgrade on the front of my 89Si (main driver) and put the leftover parts (caliper, pads, rotor) on the 2nd crx, and that should fix the brake problem upfront, as far as the rears I'll swap over the the drums to disks from one to the other and leave the 90si with drums, shouldnt be too hard.
Now my question is, will swapping stuff like that fix the leaking?
And what parts would I need exactly to finish off the fastbrakes conversion, I'm planing on using corrado G60 rotors, I KNOW IT"S Been covered before but trust me I looked and I couldnt find the full parts list I need to work with the G60 rotors, and if there is a better alternative kit other then g60 then im oppen to recomendations.
Basically if you can just tell me the full list I need in addition to the fastbrakes kit it would be much appreciated

if u don't know where the leak is we can't tell ya if that will fix it, sounds like its either missing more than the pads(i.e. calipers) or there are leaks in the lines which = your fucked, have fun, new break lines are a bitch
Well with the car off, i can pump the pedal and build up pressure, as soon as i turn it on, i can sort of pump it but it will still go down to the floor.
The bigger leak is from the front, and in the back its a much smaller leak, I havent really invstigated it much, its getting too cold out, but I saw the puddles after I messed around with it.
If it builds up pressure I assume its not the lines? Honestly I dont know how the whole brake booster/master cylinder setup works so I can only guess at what It could be.
Dosnt look like the lines though, previous owner was honest with me,didnt hide anything and would have told me if it was the lines.
He did say it needs a new caliper.
Ill take a look and keep you guys updated, thanks.

you have to have a friend pump while you look to see where its coming from and go from there, watch for the exact leak location, and no one is completely honest when selling a car

agreed. find out where the leak is coming from first.
