Ok I have a 93 civic hb w/b16. I have ITR lower control arms and shocks in the back which I did about a year ago w/ the rear disc conversion.
I still have tokico blues in the front.
What I am wondering is if the factory GSR FRONT shock is the same as the type R front shock?

 

The type r shocks are better. Gsr shocks are the same as all the lower model integras.

Type R shocks/springs are a bit aggressive and provide a .75 in drop from the standard gsr suspension. BTW, I have a pair of assembled front ITR shocks and springs for sale...

 

are you asking if they are physically the same, or the same internally?

they are the same shell, but the itr ones are better.

 

I was asking about performance and I have seemed to gotten everyone in agreement that they mount the same which I new and that the dampening rate is
better on the itr shock
