if its a track car, and you are using big cams, our 40R setup on the divided, twin scroll manifold is a solid performer...

i think everyones missed this but your title and your post list 2 different turbo's...in your title you say GT40 and your post says t3/gt40 aka blowzilla....theres a big difference.

Neither Gt35R or Gt40R, I would put a GT3767S on it.

gt40 is too big imo i answered with the gt35r and i think that would be perfect for your application esp with those psi levels

I would go with the 35R over the 40R on a B16 cause you dont have enough displacement. So there for your powerband/ full spool would be about 6500rpm with the 40R.

Because spooltime from this turbo is just a litle bit slower but you will make more peak power. If you are building a a drag car it will be better..

Put some valvesprings in it and then whatever turbo you want depending on how much power. Rev the **** out of it to whatever you need to not fall out of boost between shifts.

T3/T67 H.O. went 10.4 on 23 lbs. Broke a sleeve when I ran it on 29 lbs but made 567whp on 29 psi.

if this is a track only car and you spool at 7000 which i dont agree with, you will still be ok it the trans and slick size selection is ok. If you go under 7k on the track with a built b16 bottom end and a built head you are messing up somewhere. Go with the gt40r and for additional spool time go with the full race divided twin scroll manifold. I have personally seen the spool diffenence when used with a 42r. My car spooled at 6500 with a full race topmount and an identical car spooled at 5500 with a twin scroll fullrace manifold. It should be just as significant with a slightly smaller motor and turbo.
