Hard to rotate cams by hand w/ ITR pistons
I just installed some USDM ITR pistons in my 97 GSR, after installing my head I found it veery difficult to tun the cams w/ a ratchet. I had a valve job done to the head and had them installed some ZEX /comp springs and steel retainers. Will the new spring rate in conjuction w/ the higher comp make it that difficult to rotate? also once I was able to get it to move a hair , it scratched my cams, only on the 1 and 3 piston. Also for the record the guys who did my head work said that I had bent my exhaust valves when my can jumped timing during a down shift
when you turn just the cams and not the whole bottom end too, your jamming the valves right in to the piston. thats why they are hard to move.
