i need help with a short block, bent rods?????/ warped deck??????
I was putting togeather a h22a4 today and i noticed that what the engine is at top dead center the #1 piston is about .070" below the deck. i looked over a #4 and it sat flush with the deck. now the engine never had a knock in it and the reason i took it apart is to do the valve seals. but the engine was hydro locked before. i wasnt their but the the driver said that the engine siezed and after about 10 minutes it started again after repeated attempts. i am unsure on how to proceed. the engine ran up untill the day i took it apart and i strait edged the block and it isn't warped so
is it bent rods?
the engine ran just fine, revved good up intill the day i took it apart.
could i put it togeather or rebuild?
