Default stupid transmission question b18

are the tranny cases the same for the b18b1/c1/c5? Can I buy a type-r or gsr rebuild kit and have a gsr/type-r tranny? or do i just need to swap gears and diff?

i tried searching but had no clue and just got lost

The gear ratios are not the same between B18B/B18C1/and B18C5.

Also the diff in a B18B tranny is exactly the same size diameter as a B16A tranny which is an overall smaller size than the B18C1/B18C5 diffs.

memorybox,
if you stick with a B18C1/B18C5 tranny casing you should be fine.
