He means that when your speedometer says a certain speed, you will actually be travelling at a faster speed.
I can't think of a good reason to increase the sidewall height beyond stock.

Speedometer reading with non-stock tire is 3.4% too slow.
When your speedo reads 60mph you are actually traveling 62.0mph
you will loose some quickness in acceleration
only benefit is that you will save mileage on your odometer......when you put 100 miles on your odometer you will have actually traveled 103.4 miles

ok, so lets say I have the tire size= 185/70-14 (stock prelude S) and I upgrade to a 205/50-15 tire size; when going 60 mph I will be really traveling 62.82 mph? is that correct? because useing the tire calculator, the differnence is 4.7% So 60 x .047 = 2.82? So I would be going 62.82? is that right? sorry I really suck at math LOL.
Another question, if I have the rear tires at 195/55-15 and the front ones at 185/70-14, will there be a differnece as well?

this covers pretty much all the sizes you should use on any stock 4th or 5th gen wheel to keep very close to the same overall diameter........and don't start chiming in with the 215 bullshit cause it's not closer
