if you do the bodywork and the car is ready to go Ive seen it as cheap as 250 to 300, but most of the time it comes out closer to 400.

$235 out the door, even if you dont do any of the body work, but i highly recommend you do the prep work yourself, atleast scuff the tight spots real good, cuz if not it will start to pell and crack in a month or two cuz there $8/hr prep guys are SLACK.

You get what you pay for, I had a buddy that worked at maaco and he said that he would never let that place touch his car after seeing how bad of a job they do. so i wouldnt bring it there unless you have no other options.

Earl Scheib is better, but not by a whole lot. Any of those places thought, you benefit from doing prep work.

Don't have them do it. There's a reason they're so cheap. You can save a lot of money by doing any prep work yourself then take it to a paint shop. Still may cost you $500-$1000 depeding on the paint chosen but worth it. The lady who owned my car before me had a MAACO paint job done and they messed up bad. Didn't do a good masking job so there was paint all over the trim and glass. They also liberally used JB Weld to cover up rust spots that I have now had to clean up after every winter. Long story short, avoid MAACO like the plague.

Ps. If you want a cheap pain job, do the rustoleum white for like $50...A few people on this forum have done writeups about it and love the outcome.

my refinishing teacher just talked about macco today. said the cheapest paint job they do is cheap because they dont sand anything and just paint onto the finish.. which will peal off easy. and they arent that good to begin with.
