Default so i need a little help here

i think a lot of you know what i am running by now, but for those that dont
89 crx
ls/vtec
ok, so the car will bog bad around 1.5k, we are talking BAD here. but then as soon as the car sweeps past 2k it picks right back up again. this sound like dist timing to anyone else? if not, gimme some ideas.

maybe it could be cam timing too. You should check both anyway, maybe your off a tooth or so on the cam gears? Make sure all are up to spec.

did the car recently start this? Or has been this way since you did your swap? I am guessing no CEL. Like said before I would check the cam timing it is very possible that you are off just a tooth or so. Also is your gas miliage SHITTY? this is a good sign of you cam timing being off.

welcome to the mysterious power loss club...

ok park the car in a REAL dark area, but still allow for ventilation for the exhaust. remove spark plug wire num 4 and hold it down towards the crank pully, then when it sparks the small amount of blue light will be timmed with the mark on your crank and presto, instant and portable timing light!!!

PS, i DO NOT recomment anyone doing this.

update:
car will not run at all now. it will crank just fine, but not start. i hear the fuel pump priming so i doubt it that. the dist, plus, and wires are all brand new and the car was just runnning fine not less than 48 hrs ago.
