Just got my new catback and the freakin hangers welded to the exhaust are like 1-1 & 1/2 inches too short. yeah... says on the box it's for 96-00 civic's and i've got a 97... i'd either have to cut into my bumper... have my muffler guy weld on an extension, or buy a rubber/polyurethane hanger that's longer. Don't know if they exist though??

dude,go to a body shop and tell em to weld it,cost 50-100,worht it

 

have them weld the muffler hanger straight to the body?? 50-100 is a bit steep for me considering i just bought a brand new catback. i'll send the damn thing back before i spend that much more on it.

 

yea and then shippings gonna be 100,make custom hangers,sell then to weld custom hangers,dont be a bitch about it and sepdn moeny on shipping

 

why would he have to pay shipping?
just go to the parts store dude...they sell rubber hangers
