FS: b16a 90 CRX Si - St. Louis
Alright, I guess I’ve reached the point where it makes some sense to sell it. I’ve put about as much time and money into this car as I can … I’m a student and my pockets aren’t endless.
In a nutshell: Clean Titled White ‘91 CRX Si w/ JDM B16a swap
Hasport mount kit and shift linkage
Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable struts with Eibach sportline springs (drop: 1.7”F/1.5”R)
Airmass 4-2-1 Header
Custom 2.25” cat-back (made by HTP- a shop here in STL) w/ high flow cat and Magnaflow muffler and resonator
Cold air intake
B&M dual bend sport shifter
front upper strut tower bar (not pictured)
Pioneer WMA/MP3/Cd player
Infinity 6 ½ speakers all around
Last few Oil changes were done with OEM filter and Royal Purple motor oil.
Amber bumper lights (actual amber plastic, not paint)
3 piece JDM tails (full amber corners and raised lettering in the center piece) - stockers included
Integra black and chrome interior door handles.
HF tach installed (I have a whole 2nd 90-91 cluster, and an 88-89 that will go with the car)
I’ll give you all the parts I got(you'll probably need a truck)! Including: spare alternator, starter, and most of the necessary parts to put the A/C back in (I believe you would only need a tensioner pulley, belt, condenser, and to charge it – I have a b-series compressor from an integra and the CRX A/C lines)
Spare FITV and IACV
Spare Intake manifold (1/2 polished, needs finishing)
Dynomax axle-back 2.25in muffler w/ dual exits… needs to make a pipe to connect it to the 2.25in mid section though. (See pic) (act fast, I might be selling it separately)
USDM tail lights (like 3-4 different center sections too)
Custom fit CRX seat covers - not needed, but good if you want to keep the seat bolsters from ripping
tons of extra interior pieces
to many misc. parts to list- I've stripped 2 other crx's and have tons of stuff
Interior is in pretty good shape, just needs that gray cover plate for the rear view mirror assembly (the seat belt light indicator housing) and floor mats and it would be complete.
Exterior could use some work, rust was patched and quarters got two coats of paint to seal them but no wet sanding or clear coat. New metal patch panels and paint would fix them 100%
windshield has a low crack in it, but it never bothered me, and it passes MO state inspection.
This has been my daily driver, and because of this, it has an LS tranny installed. I drive this car to UMSL from Clayton everyday so most of its duty is highway miles so longer gears work better for me. I never abuse the car; hell, I rarely ever even push it. There are weeks that go by without ever hitting Vtec at all. I’d rather it have a home where it is used more fully. LS trannies are nice for boost too

I’ll start at $4,000 OBO – the sooner you buy, the more generous I may be with the OBO. I have another car in mind and need this sold to buy it.
also open to trades…but I'm picky. Del Sol... Si or above with z6, y8, or b-series of some kind... Black, captiva blue, or samba green preferred, but open to other greens, white, etc... red is least preferred. Cleanliness is a big plus, and open to some light mods. I suppose I will accept an S, but I'd need at least rear disk brakes or a damn good deal to get me interested.
or I want a clean eg hatch... black preferred, open to any color but again, red is my last choice(so it's gotta be a good deal). mods like suspension, rear disks, exhaust, motor swap, short shifter are all very welcome.
*UPDATE*
Oil changed Thursday with Royal purple 10w30 and a Fram High Mileage filter (didn't have time to get to Huey's Honda and buy an oem this time, but I actually got one in a trade Saturday, so I have one now)
Passed safety and emissions this week(last time ever for emissions, woot!) along with brand new 185/60r14 Potenza G009 tires on all four wheels
The car has ~ a month left until the safety and emissions tests are invalid, so pick it up now and be done with emissions FOREVER!
