Default :::keep on getting exhaust leaks:::

im runnin...type r headers...straight pipe...gredy evo catback piping...and stock gsr muffler....after installing my headers and straigt pipe about 2 months ago...started ahving exhaust leak problems...ive fixed it once...and wus working great for bout 3 weeks...now i got another one....wut could be the reason for this?

Maybe it's because you have a very free flowing exhaust, and then it hits the gsr muffler and puts a big choke on every thing and is giving to much back pressure.

Mismatched parts, connections that dont line up properly, mild steel piping and poor installation.....any and all of those "could" be an issue.

I would go with a 14" long, 2.5" straight through oval magnaflow muffler. This is what I have only in a 2.25" and it sounds great, and looks better than the es tuning.

the problem is where u mate ure bpipe to ure stock muffler. although the bolts line up, unless u used the 2" doughnut gasket 4 sure ure going to leak at that point.

hmmm...ill hav to check that out also...i dont remember relpacing that dounut wehn i toook my exhaust off
