Default What clutch/flywheel combo to go with for a max of 250whp on a D16Z6

I know that clutches are rated by torque, but I have no idea what the Tq # will be, I do know that I'm only aiming for a MAX of 250whp and as far as torque anything over 175 would be great IMO. I looked through the archives and only found about 3-4 posts of people saying what they were running on a d series...all of them making much more power than I plan to.

I want a good/reliable clutch for my d16z6 that will be pushing 200-250whp(yes I know not very much, but I'll be using a greddy kit to start, then get a bigger/better turbo later). I would like your guys' opinions so I don't buy something I think will be nice and then have it only last like 5000 miles or have extremely hard pedal preassure. This will go into my daily drivn car and traffic is sometimes an issue but not most of the time.

Thanks In Advance!

I would reccomend that u get something good now, rather than later. Im running an ACTION 1ms and that would suit your power goals, however, I'm going to be upgrading to a stiffer pressure plate since im starting a new setup. I would just get an ACT XTSS or ACTION 2MS now, rather than later so you don't need to upgrade. However, if you decide to just getting something "good enough", I would recommend the 1MS. Pedal feel is better than stock, but not a pain in the ***.

For 250 whp , you need Act Stage 3 (Street Strip disc and Heavy duty pressure plate.)
