Clutch question for my D16z6, help me out.
I'm looking into getting a new clutch and flywheel for 93 SI, it only has 81k and the clutch is great but I'm looking for something to grab a little better I guess. I don't know much about clutchs and flywheels, just the little I have been reading. I'm looking for something for my D16z6 with I/H/E, and IM. Nothing to extreme is needed since thats about all the mods I will be doing to this engine/tranny. I'm just looking for something to be nice to drive with and come in good use when its needed. I've heard a lot of good things about the ACT 4 Puck. Help me out with any suggestions, comments, what else I need besides clutch and flywheel, if anything, around about prices for everything. Thanks in advance

The 4 puck is going to be pretty extreme with just a stock motor. It's real hard on your motor and trany. I would go with an ACT HDSS. Just a little more pedal pressure that is almost not noticeable and plenty of grabbing force. I had one in my turbo z6 as well as a gsr swap in a eg and its a great clutch that is easy to drive and grabs adequately enough.

Re: (fishnfst)
i have act hdss, my mods are in my sig, it grabs very well but not too harsh. since it sounds like you are not gonna run any forced induction, check out the exedy organic clutch kits too- they are reasonably priced and hold something like 30 % more than stock. oh- get a lightweight flywheel too- makes a hell of a difference in rev speeds

competion clutch or centerforce should work fine used both and both work awesome with a 100shot of nos and were steetable
