Default Saw a boosted integra video clip, it sounded like a v8

I was on this one website. Where they have all boosted honda's. I found this one integra clip and it was doing a quarter mile lap. It sounded like a v8 at idle. It had 17psi, it ran a 11.2 at the end of the quarter mile. I just wanna know what size cams do you need to have to make a inline four b18c1 sound like a v8.

Open downpipe sounds basically the same. So I can safely assume...

Downpipe > no cat (test pipe) > 3" piping > no resonator > straight thru muffler (no baffles)

OR

Full 3" exhaust but with an open electronic cutout (might not make sense but is totally doable).

My gsr is decently fast (only 260whp @ 6.5psi). When my cutout is open, it idles like a V8 on roids and spools like a mean *** big rig truck.

Go to http://www.streetfire.net . This thing makes 380whp and runs in the 11's. The video clip on there is the 11 second quarter mile. Just listen to the idle. It sounds like the motor wants to leave the car. This is it http://videos.streetfire.net/search/integra/0.htm . Its the fifth row down. Its that white one.

I think you are hearing the rotary powered Starlet in the left lane and not the Integra. The Teg barely made any noise during the brief burnout!

I dont here anything that even remotly sounds like a V8 in that video. You can't really hear the integra and the starlet sounds like a chainsaw to me.

Probably straight downpipe and a set of good turbo cams.

I heard a rotary with a loud exhaust, but no V8.

OMFG that's one of the worst videos I've ever seen. There were a few seconds of nothing but track/asphalt in the frame. The last few seconds featured really exciting footage of the timing board. *sigh* I wish people would learn some videography basics before picking up a camcorder.

What you are hearing is the peripheral or bridge ported rotary in that Toyota Starlet.
