i bought a 2007 honda accord coupe ex.
my headlight switch is on off but part of my headlight is still on and the meters light are on bright.
and when i turn on my headlights the meters turn dimmer than when its off.

is that suppose to happen

 

Yes this is normal. What you're seeing is the daytime running lights. When those are on you should see a faded blue indicator (same one you see when you turn on highbeams but not completely lighted). When you turn on the headlights the gauge lights dim so there is less glare when it's dark.

 

its ok, its your daytime running lights. their supposed to be on.
