Default hi, new to honda tech, have a question

hi, well lets see, i am currently looking for a new car to buy, and for the price my decision went down to either an 07 scion tc or an 06-07 civic ex coupe, possibly an 06 si, i was searching around and couldnt find it so could anyone tell me what is the difference between the 06 and 07 models of the civic ex coupe? any changes at all?

also do you think its possible to get an 06 si for 20k~

No difference on the 06 and 07 ex that I'm aware of, except for interior color options. Someone correct me there if I'm wrong.

You could probably get an '06 si for 20k with maybe like 5k miles on it...gonna be tricky to find, though!

By the way, I test drove a tC before I drove the civic. The Civic has a MUCH nicer interior and gets much better mileage (even though I like the look of the tC a bit better). It's a no-brainer, especially when you test drive the si =P

If you've driven an si, you won't say "it's just a civic". It doesn't feel like any civic I've ever been in...you'll see.

Perfect -- now try the same thing with an EX or a tC and you'll realize the si is the only way to go of the three

Cobra mustang, understandable.... GTI? hah. The GTI is like an RSX but poorly built. Its slightly faster than the Si but nowhere near the handling performance... and as we have all seen, the K series is ready to crank out some ponies if you want them to.

STi fool!!! not GTI. Id say get the tc. cuz later on if you change your mind and want more power you can the trd bolt on supercharger without voiding your warranty as long as you have a trd certified tech install it and it will be street legal, no smog issues. get an si if you dont care about that **** and you just mod the hell out of your **** anyway.

si = faster than supercharged tC, better mileage. Why recommend the tC?

My friend's brother just bought a TC. He saw my car for the first time yesterday and was like...Man, I wish I got that instead of this. He has had so many problems with the TC he told me. Hands down, get the SI.

Ok-

The tC gets 22 city/29 highway, which is **** poor for a 4 cyl coupe.
The Civ coupe EX gets 30/38 and the Si gets something like 22/31. Even the Si gets better mileage. If you've ever driven a tC and Civic you'll feel let down by the tC. The coupe is sluggish and doesnt handle as well. You'll like the Civic- it's more nimble. The torque is the only difference but the delivery isn't as good as youd think in the tC.

Oh, if that's the only question, the only difference on the EX model is the interior color selection. On the si it's the stability control that has been added

Aye, congrats!

The EX is a damn good car, and you'll be happy with it.

i got my 06 si for $21,000 after taxes and tags (and my trade in was only worth $800). For the price, you can't beat an Si. There's so much you can do to them and right out of the box, they are a blast!
