Converting from 4 x 114 to 4 x 100 ?
had no idea how to search for this...
I have a set of 96 ITR brakes for my civic... they are not installed yet, but I have been thinking and don't want to loose my vast 4 x 100 rim selection.
I have a civic DX brake setup stock (rear drums)... looking at the parts, it seems quite simple to convert the 4 x 114 brakes to 4 x 100 with some miscellaneous parts. Am I right in my assumption ?
I have:
full 4 x 114 brake conversion
front and rear rotors from a jdm SiR (same diameter as 96 R and integra gsr i believe)
my CIVIC front 4 x 100 hubs
Would my civic rear drum's hub work as well ?
If there are links out there that could help... a link would be sweet.
(BTW... it's either convert or sell all my 4 x100 rims and pimp some grandma accord rims
)

Sell your 4x114.3 and buy Integra front/rears, and still have money left over. People will pay more for the 4x114.3 because it's JDM, seriously.
the 4 x 114 setup isn't going for much in this part of the world... .. especially since i don't have the R rims (which are a hot item for other brands that run 114...
Also integra and SiR brakes are hot items... so it'd end up costing me even more...
so... trying to do this as inexpensive as necessary.... help ?

I would simply say buy 4x100 hubs and have them pressed in with new bearings onto the ITR knuckles and trailing arms. Then buy Integra rotors.
um...ya... that's basically what I was saying...
so it is a bolt up affair then if I have the front and rear rotors since i have civic front hubs with fairly new bearings already.
Will the rear drum hubs work with disc ?

no your civic dx setup wont work on the ITR spindel.
you need 94-01 integra LS/RS/GS/GSR front wheel bearings, and hubs.
and no the rear drums hubs are completly different. Again you need to buy 94-01 integra LS/RS/GS/GSR rear hub assembly

Look... just asking a simple question.... not trying to doubt you, but I want to know why.
I asked about the hub tho... as the hub does not serve as the mount for the caliper, so again, why do you say it won't work just switching the hub and not touching the spindle ?
