h22 crankshaft in f22 engine build
i have and h22 crankshaft laying around and would like to put it in my f22 i no i will have to use h22 rods but are the h22 bearing the same as the f22 and since the stroke of the h22 crankshaft is shorter i should be able to rev it higher, but since the stroke is short the compression will drop i want the compression to be 10.2.1 like a stock h22 but do you think thats to high. I plan on making it turbo so give me some advice please!
It depends on the year of the crank... if it is 98-01 it has a different main bearing size (55mm) than your block (50mm)
go to zealautoworks.com to figure out you're compression ratio. Which head are you using? H or F22?

your compression is going to be really low, shorter stroker lowers compression and there are no pistons with large domes avalible for ethe f22...
keep the f22 crank.
keep the f22 crank.
they do make high dome pistons and i do no that the cranks and rods are the same as h23 im just wondering what bearing to use my crank is from a 94 h22

How about the ones from the F20B?

you'd have to have the rods rebushed for the floating pin, and the compression height is 1.181 instead of 1.220, so the piston would be way down i the hole.
