I have a 1990 accord that I just swaped in a 92 motor. I had to swap the engine harnesses and change to the internal coil dizzy. It starts fine but runs realy rough and misss bad. The tach does not work at all. I tried a new distributor and my alternaotr seems to be working fine Any ideas on my problem? Thanks

After lots of searching I have found that the VSS could be the problem? The transmission on the 92 engine had a different speed sensor? Which speed sensor should I use? Thanks

Tach signal comes direct from the distributor, you should have an 8 wire connector and a 4 wire connector, if I am correct, maybe you only have a three wire connector and no tach output, that distributor with 3 wires was on a car with no tach.????
